This is a HUGE turquoise & sterling silver ring that was handmade by the wonderfully talented Navajo silversmith Cecil Atencio
Cecil made this ring to feature it's absolutely gorgeous, natural, Pilot Mountain turquoise stone that he set in a smooth silver bezel and surrounded with a silver twisted rope.
He mounted the stone on a beautifully carved and stamped silver base
and attached it to a sturdy triple wire band.
This size 9 ring weighs a very comfortable 29 grams. It measures 2" long and 1+1/4" wide.
The back of the ring is stamped sterling and has Cecil's hallmark.
This beautiful example of genuine, handmade, Native American Indian jewelry will certainly make a wonderful addition to your jewelry collection, or a terrific gift.

Cecil Atencio was born on the Navajo reservation at Kimbeto, NM. In June 1956 to Nina and Chee Atencio. Cecil's sister Esther and her husband Alfred Largo taught him the art of Silversmithing and told Cecil that no mater what happened in his life he could always fall back on Silversmithing.
Cecil has been a Silversmith for almost 30 years and is known for making many different styles of jewelry. He currently lives on the Navajo reservation at To'Hajiilee', New Mexico with his wife Mae and two children Carmelita and Ephraim, also his two grandchildren Louis and Alliana Atencio.
