This is a stunning turquoise and sterling silver bracelet that was handmade by the wonderfully talented Navajo artist Juan Guerro.
Juan obviously made this bracelet to feature it's absolutely gorgeous, contour shaped, very thick, natural Pilot Mountain turquoise stone. He set the stone in a plain silver bezel and mounted it on a double wire shank.
The inside of the bracelet measures 5+1/4" long plus there is a gap of 1+1/8". It's 2+1/8" wide, is stamped STERLING and has Juan's hallmark.
The shank has some flexibility so a small, careful, size adjustment can be made.
All pictures are enlarged to show details.
The coin that appears in one of the pictures is a quarter dollar.
The black areas that appear on the side edges of the stone are simply part of the host rock that the stone was taken from. These is not defects and they were placed there by the ultimate artist Mother Nature.
