Here's a terrific, Navajo made, money clip that we purchased at a jewelry & crafts co-op on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona.
As the pictures displayed below will show you, the clip features beautiful, hand stamped, Native American symbols and designs on the front surface.
It measures 1+3/4" long and is 3/4" wide. It weighed in at 15.4 grams.
The front, which is sterling silver, was applied to the clip portion which is made of nickel silver. The purpose of using nickel silver for the clip is that it is stronger than sterling and is much less likely to crack or split after repeated use.
Unfortunately we forgot to ask for the name of the artist that made this clip. However we know that it is Navajo made because this co-op only sells items that were made by local Navajo artists.
This is one of those items that would be great for yourself, or would made a terrific and inexpensive gift for that special friend or relative.
