Chad and Val have been well known, for several years, for their Corn Maiden jewelry, but this link bracelet is a new style that they just recently started making. After purchasing this bracelet we asked them to make a few more for us as we're sure that the combination of their artistic talents, and reasonable prices, will lead to quick sales.
The bracelet measures 8+1/2" long including the clasp. However, due the link design, the length can easily be shortened to fit smaller wrists. The bracelet weighs 26 grams and the back is signed buy Chad & Val. Each of the Corn Maidens is 1+1/4" long.
As with most Zuni jewelry the beauty of this bracelet is in the detail work. It's hard to imagine how much time it must have taken them to cut, shape and carve each of the Corn Maidens.
