We're back from another trip across the Southwest! We pored through trading posts, crafts stands, and pawnshops to bring you the best American Indian jewelry there is. This pendant/pin, created by the wonderfully talented Zuni artists Chad Quandelacy (of the famous Quandelacy family of fetish carvers) and Val Comosona, depicts three side-by-side Corn Maidens that were carved into a beautiful piece of orange & white spiny oyster shell. The three corn maidens are decorated with black jet, turquoise, and coral.

The base, made of sterling silver, has a bale for a narrow necklace and a pin (with a safety clasp) should you wish to wear it on a shirt, sweater or jacket. It measures 2 15/16 of an inch long from the top of the bale (2 1/4 of an inch long not including the bale) and 1 1/2 inches wide. The back is signed by both artists and marked Zuni
