Alex created this ring in his unique "petroglygh" style which features traditional Native American symbols that are applied to a textured and blackened base.
Alex adorned this ring with a bright blue turquoise stone and symbols that represent a turtle and two dragonflies. He also added a cross, a curl and raindrop beads.
This size 7+1/2 ring measures 1+1/4" long and is 3/4" wide. The ring's band is 1/2" wide. It weighed in at 17 grams, is stamped sterling and has Alex's hallmark
As with most of his petroglyph style rings Alex made this ring with a wide, hand stamped, band. When you purchase a ring with a wide band you should choose one that is slightly larger than your normal size as the band will cover a larger portion of your finger.
Alex is one of today's most collectible Native American jewelry artists and his art is generally on display in the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. The Heard is considered the "Smithsonian" of Native American jewelry.
