This is a great pair of earrings by noted Navajo silversmith Betty Joe.
They each have a beautiful turquoise head with twisted rope designs around the top, and a dangling dark orange piece of spiny oyster as the body, also with silver raindrop beads along the bottom.
Each earring measures 1 and 7/8 inches long and 1/2 inches wide. Total weight is 13 grams.
The backs are stamped Navajo B Joe, and although there is no sterling stamp on them, Betty only works in sterling silver.
