This is a vintage, green turquoise & silver ring that would make a terrific addition to your vintage jewelry collection.
This size 7 ring measures 1+1/4" long and it weighs a comfortable 11.2 grams.
As with most, vintage, Native American made jewelry there is no artist's hallmark nor any stamp indicating the purity of the silver.
The seller that we purchased this ring from said that it was made by a Navajo artist, probably during the 1930's or 1940's.
Considering it's age this ring is still in quite good condition. The stone is not cracked and it's set firmly in it's bezel. The silver shows wear appropriate for it's age.
The color of the stone has "yellowed" over the years, which is not unusual as the color will change from oils in the skin of it's previous owner(s).
Some pictures are enlarged to show details.
The coin in one of the pictures is a quarter.
