Here's a vintage, turquoise, coral and sterling silver ring that we purchased from a well respected pawn trader in western New Mexico.

The ring features one turquoise stone and one piece of red coral each of which are set in silver saw tooth bezels. The artist further adorned the ring with an applied silver leaf and a silver raindrop bead.

As with most vintage Native American made jewelry there is no artist's hallmark nor any stamp indicating the purity of the silver.

It's a size 9+3/4 and it weighs a very comfortable 7.5 grams.

State laws regulate what information pawn traders are allowed to give out however we were told that the ring was most likely made during the 1960's or 1970's and, based on the style, it was most likely made by a Navajo artist.

Although there is no sterling stamp, based on the heavy patina, we are quite sure that it is sterling.

This wonderful old ring is still in remarkably good condition. It can use some cleaning and polishing but we'll leave that for it's next owner. Our policy is that we never clean vintage jewelry as most collectors prefer to receive these older pieces "as is".
