Here's a vintage turquoise & silver "snake" ring that we purchased from Effie Calavaza on our first visit to the Zuni Reservation during the late 1970's.

As with most of her rings this old beauty features two beautifully matched turquoise stones that are set in handmade silver bezels and are surrounded with Effie's signature snake figure, with turquoise eyes.

This size 7+1/2 ring weighs a very comfortable 10 grams and it measures 1+1/4" long.

The back has Effie's hallmark (Effie C) and is stamped Zuni.

This wonderful old ring is in excellent vintage condition. It can use a bit of polishing but we'll leave that for it's next owner. Our policy is that we never clean vintage jewelry as most collectors prefer to receive these older pieces "as is".
