This is a Harvey era turquoise brooch/pin. It's from around the 1930's to 1940's, and the stone is a true turquoise blue in color. The thunderbird figure was a very popular style made by the companies that specialized in what is called "tourist jewelry" in the early to mid 1900s...and it is very collectible.

The pin measures 2 and 1/4 inches across and is 5/8 inches in height in the front... It weighs 5.9 grams on our postal scale. It's not signed by it's maker but stamped sterling.
