Here's a terrific, vintage, dead pawn, silver bracelet that we purchased from a well known pawn shop in western New Mexico.
It measures 5+1/4" on the inside plus there is a gap of 1". It is 1/2" wide and weighed in at a comfortable 21 grams. It has some flexibility so a small, careful size adjustment can be made.
The design is fairly simple as the only adornments are two twisted ropes that run the full length of the bracelet. The twisted ropes are attached at both ends and have a bit of movement at the center. This seems to be fairly common with older pieces of jewelry.
Due to state laws that limit the amount of information pawn sellers can offer, the only additional info we have it that the bracelet was made by a local Navajo silversmith probably during the late 1960's to early 1970's.
There is no artist's hallmark nor any mark indicating the silver content. We do not test for sterling as the chemicals in the testing kit tend to stain the silver.
