Here's a stunning silver & turquoise cluster ring that we purchased at a well known pawn shop in southern Utah, adjacent to the Navajo Reservation.
This wonderful, old, ring (probably made during the 1970's) features seven, bright blue, turquoise stones that are set in saw tooth bezels and are attached to a simple two wire shank.
The size 9+1/2 ring weighs 12 grams. It is 1+3/8" long and 7/8" wide. As with much older Native American jewelry there is no artist's hallmark nor any indication the silver content.
State Laws regulate the amount of information pawn shops are allowed to offer so this shop's owner was unable to give us the name of the artist that made it. We were told that it is Navajo made.
Despite it's age and travels this ring is in excellent condition.
