Here's a terrific silver & turquoise watch bracelet that we purchased at a well known pawn shop in southern Utah, adjacent to the Navajo Reservation.
This wonderful, old, watch bracelet (probably made during the 1950's-1960's) features two triangular shaped, bright blue, turquoise stones and very attractive hand stampings. One of the turquoise stones has a hairline crack but the stone is tight and set well in it's bezel.
The inside measures 5+7/8" plus there is a gap of 1+1/8". It weighs a hefty 138 grams (4.9 ounces) and is 2" wide. As with most older Native American jewelry there is no mark that indicates the silver content.
State Laws regulate the amount of information pawn shops are allowed to offer so this shop's owner was unable to give us the name of the artist that made it. We were told that it is Navajo made. The quartz watch is brand new.
