This is stunning pair of Hopi made "Sunface" earrings that we purchased from a well known pawn trader in northern Arizona.
These earrings measure 1+3/4" long (including the ear wires) and they weigh a very comfortable 10 grams (5 grams each). The diameter of each Sunface measures 1".
The back of each earring is stamped sterling and has the artist's hallmark.
Hopi jewelry, such as these earrings, is highly collectible (and a bit expensive) because of the the very high quality and the labor intensive work it takes to create jewelry using the silver overlay technique.
These earrings will certainly make a terrific addition to anyone's jewelry collection, or a fantastic gift.
