Wilford carved this fetish from a piece of deer antler. To further enhance this fetish he inlaid small pieces of turquoise as both character's eyes and necklaces and coral as their mouths. The detail with which he worked is astonishing..
As the final step he added a highly polished finish.
The fetish stands 1+7/8" tall and it weighs 9 grams.
The Zuni village where Wilford works is known as a "village of artists". After spending a few days there, and seeing the results of their labors, we fully understand why.
