This is a beautiful pottery jar that was crafted by the very talented Zuni team of Vernon and Desiree Calavaza. Encircling the jar are incredibly detailed designs that depict a typical pueblo village that was built several centuries ago. The pink undecorated areas above and below the designs were finished with a course surface probably containing sand. The cap is adorned with a fetish in the shape of a bear with a small blue stone attached to it's back with string. The bottom is signed by the artists and has the word Zuni.

The jar, including it's cap, measures 10" high and it's diameter is 7 and 1/2".
