Here's a very attractive, sterling silver barrette that we purchased at a jewelry & crafts co-op on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona.
This handmade barrette features a bright blue turquoise stone at the center and very handsome, hand stamped Native American designs from end to end.
It measures 4" long and weighs 16 grams. The back is stamped sterling. Unfortunately the artist forgot to stamp his, or her, hallmark, but since everything in that co-op was made by local artists on the reservation, we are sure that it is Navajo made.
