Here's a multi-stone & sterling silver watch/pendant that was handmade by the well known Navajo silversmith Wilbert Benally.
We added the five strand, 30" long, liquid silver necklace to make this a complete set. (These days, necklaces such as this are selling for about $50.00).
Wilbert made this watch/pendant to feature it's various colored stones, which include turquoise, malachite, mother-of-pearl and black jet.
Each stone is set in a silver saw tooth bezel and the stones are separated from each other with silver raindrop beads.
Wilbert mounted the stones on a fairly thick silver base that he decorated with very attractive hand stamped designs.
The watch/pendant measures 2+3/8" long and it weighs 25 grams. The liquid silver necklace weighs 8 grams, so the total weight is a quite comfortable 33 grams.
Although we've previously sold many pieces of Wilbert's jewelry over the years, we've never before seen one like this watch/pendant. We don't know if it's a one-of-a-kind piece, but we wouldn't be surprised to learn that it is.
Some pictures are enlarged to show detail.
The coin in one of the pictures is a quarter.
