This is a sterling silver watch/bracelet was made by the remarkably talented Navajo silversmith Byron Soce.
As the pictures displayed above will show you, Byron made this bracelet to feature the very intricate designs and symbols that he hand stamped from one end of the bracelet to the other.
There are other Native American artists that use similar stampings, but it's rare to find any artist that has the creativity and ability to produce jewelry such as this bracelet.
The inside of the bracelet measures 5+1/4", plus there's a gap of 1+1/8"
It weighs a very comfortable 35 grams and it's 7/8" wide.
The back is stamped sterling and has Byron's hallmark (B. Soce).
As you may have noticed, the price of silver jewelry has increased considerably over past few years, and this is totally due to the cost of the silver. So, please don't lay the blame on us, the artists or even our competitors.
Here's some interesting information regarding the recent cost of silver:
The average price in 2009 was $14.67
The average price in 2010 was $20.19
And the average price in 2011 (thru May) has been $39.27
We hope this information will be useful for you when you're looking to purchase new silver jewelry.
Also, beware of sellers who are changing the prices of jewelry that they've had in their inventory for a few years. There are sellers (wholesale and retail) who are increasing the prices on their older jewelry to reflect the current price of silver. In simple terms, they are cheating their customers.
We never have, and never will, do anything to "rip off" our customers.
And we want to assure you that the prices we charge are based entirely on the prices that we paid. We will NEVER cheat any of our customers.
