Here's a magnificent, sterling silver & turquoise, man's size cuff watch that we recently purchased from a well known pawn trader in northern Arizona, adjacent to the Navajo Reservation.
This is one of those situations were we'll let the pictures describe this item as they will do a better job than any words that we may write.
Here's what we can tell you:
The inside of this cuff watch measures 6+3/8"" long plus there is a gap of 1+1/4". It is 1+1/2" wide at it's widest point and it weighs a substantial 99 grams. The inside is stamped sterling and has the artist's hallmark (L J J).
Due to State laws that regulate the amount of information pawn traders are allowed to give out we were unable to obtain the name of the artist that made this wonderful piece of older Native American art. However we were told that it was handmade by a local Navajo artist.
NOTE: This cuff watch has some flexibility but we very strongly suggest that any size adjustment should be made by a professional silversmith or jeweler to prevent damaging the silver applications.
