Here's a wonderful pair of handmade silver earrings that we purchased at an estate sale in Arizona.
The earrings measure 1+3/4" long (including the ear wires) and they weigh a very comfortable 7 grams (3.5 grams each).
As with much, vintage, Native American made jewelry, there is no artist's hallmark nor any stamp indicating the purity of the silver.
However, the seller at the estate sale told us that the earrings were most likely made during the mid 1900's by a Navajo artist.
Despite their age these handmade earrings are still in quite good condition. They can use some cleaning but we'll leave that for their next owner. Our policy is that we never clean vintage jewelry as most collectors prefer to receive these older pieces "as is".
