Here's a stunning pair of turquoise and sterling silver post type earrings that were handmade by the well respected Navajo silversmith Albert Cleveland.
There are the two, beautifully matched, green turquoise stones (with tan and brown matrix) that Albert set in silver bezels and surrounded with silver twisted ropes. He mounted the stones on wonderfully hand carved silver bases.
On the silver bases are the traditional, Native American, symbols and designs that he hand stamped onto the earring's sterling silver bases.
As with all of Albert's jewelry, these earrings are beautiful and of exceptionally high quality.
These earrings measure 1+1/4" long and are 1" wide. They weighed in at a very comfortable 15 grams (7.5 grams each).
The back of the earrings are stamped sterling and have Albert's hallmark (AC).
NOTE: The picture with one earring next to a quarter dollar most accurately shows the true colors of the turquoise stones. Due to the highly polished surfaces of the turquoise stones they were very difficult to photograph accurately. The other pictures show the stones darker then they really are due to the reflections of our black camera.
