Here's an absolutely stunning necklace that was made by the very talented Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Darva Calavaza.

Darva made this three strand necklace primarily with highly polished spiny oyster beads that she interspersed with some serpentine beads. At the ends of each strand are about 3" of olive shell heishi.

The necklace measures 28" long (including the clasp) and it weighs 115 grams.

Darva is well known for making beautiful but affordable jewelry, and this necklace is a wonderful example of just that.
