When we told our friend Maggie Garcia that every coiled bracelet she had ever made for us had sold very quickly she went home and made this stunning bracelet for us.
As the pictures displayed above will show you Maggie made this bracelet with 44 beautifully matched turquoise nuggets which she cut (into barrel shapes) and polished them so they all look quite similar. She separated the nuggets from each other with silver beads.
The bracelet weighs a comfortable 63 grams and because of it's coiled shape it will fit just about any wrist. Depending on the size of your wrist there will be 3 or coils.
There was no place for Maggie to place her hallmark, but since she is our friend, and we picked up the bracelet at her home on the Pueblo, we are 100% sure that she is the artist that made it.
Maggie is well known for making "beautiful but affordable" jewelry, and this bracelet is s perfect example of just that.
Can you imagine how many hours of very tedious labor it took for Maggie to make this wonderful bracelet?
This wonderful example of genuine, handmade, Native American art will certainly make a terrific addition to your jewelry collection.
