This is a teardrop shaped, purple spiny oyster and sterling silver ring that was handmade by the very talented Navajo artist Herman Lee.
Herman made this ring to feature the highly polished, deep purple, spiny oyster stone that he set in a silver saw tooth bezel and surrounded with a silver twisted rope.
He mounted the stone on a handsomely carved silver base and attached it to a sturdy, double wire band.
This size 6+1/2 ring weighs a very comfortable 6.2 grams and it measures slightly less than 1+1/4" long.
The back is stamped sterling and has Herman's hallmark.
Herman is well known for making beautiful but affordable jewelry, and this stunning ring is a perfect example of just that.
