This is a BIG, beautiful, and quite unusual, bright blue turquoise and sterling silver ring that was made by Running Bear, in western New Mexico.
This size 7+1/2 ring weighs a very comfortable 22 grams and it measures 1+3/4" long.
The back of the ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and has Running Bear's hallmark.
Because this ring is so unusual (it's the only one made in this style that we've ever seen) we ask that you see the pictures displayed above as they will do a much better job of describing the ring than any words that we may write.
Running Bear is not an artist but it's a jewelry trader that employs only Native American artists to make their jewelry. So, even though we don't have the artist's name, we do know that it was made by an Indian artist.
This stunning example of genuine, Native American made jewelry will certainly make a great addition to anyone's jewelry collection, or a fantastic gift.
Some pictures are enlarged to show detail.
The coin in one of the pictures is a quarter.
