Here's a very attractive turquoise rondelle bracelet that was handmade by the multi-talented Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Maggie Garcia.
The bracelet measures 7+1/2" long and it weighs a very comfortable 13 grams.
Maggie made this bracelet with turquoise rondelles that she shaped, drilled and polished entirely by hand. She separated the rondelles from each other with clam shell beads and she added a spiny oyster bead at each end, by the clasp.
We are the only sellers on the internet that sell Maggie's earrings, bracelets and necklaces and we're very proud to be able to represent her. Over the past several years she has become a very close friend of ours and she is certainly one of the nicest, and most generous, people that we have ever met.
After many years of working for the local school system, and making her jewelry as a hobby, Maggie recently retired and now spends most of her time making traditional Santo Domingo style jewelry. Also, because of her wide variety of talents, she now makes some of her jewelry in several more contemporary styles.
Maggie is well known for making beautiful but affordable jewelry, and this bracelet is a terrific example of just that.
NOTE: The lighting conditions made the clasp in one of the pictures appear to be made from gold. IT IS NOT GOLD. The clasp, as usual, was made from silver.
