Here's a very old, green turquoise & silver ring that we purchased at an estate sale in Arizona.
This size 7 ring weighs a very comfortable 5 grams. As with much, vintage, Indian made jewelry, there is no artist's hallmark nor any stamp indicating the silver purity.
According to the seller, who seemed very knowledgeable regarding older Native American art, this ring was made by a Navajo artist during the 1950's or 1960's.
Despite it's age this wonderful old beauty is still in very good condition.
The turquoise stone is set firmly in it's bezel and the silver shows practically no signs of wear.
The ring can use a bit of cleaning and polishing, but we'll leave that for it's next owner. Our store policy is that we never clean vintage jewelry as most collectors prefer to receive these older pieces "as is".
NOTES: The largest picture most accurately shows the true color of the green turquoise stone. Also, please excuse the dark spots that appear on the raindrop beads above the stone. They are simply reflections of our camera and they do not exist on the ring.
