Here's a green turquoise & sterling silver ring that would make a fantastic addition to anyone's vintage jewelry collection.
This size 6+3/4 ring weighs a very comfortable 7 grams and it measures 1+1/8" long.
The inside of the ring's band is stamped sterling and has the old Bell Trading Company hallmark. This hallmark indicates that the ring was made during the mid 1900's.
The stone is set in a smooth silver bezel and is surrounded by a silver twisted rope. The artist decorated the ring by adding silver raindrop beads on both sides of the stone and a few hand stampings on the ring's band.
Despite it's age and travels this wonderful old beauty is still in remarkably good condition. The stone is set firmly in it's bezel and is not cracked nor chipped. The silver shows only minimal signs of wear.
It use some cleaning and polishing but we'll leave that for it's next owner. Our policy is that we never clean vintage jewelry as most collectors prefer to receive these older pieces "as is".
