Here's a two strand, purple spiny oyster, turquoise and heishe
necklace that was handmade by the multi-talented Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Maggie Garcia.
This stunning necklace measures 27" long and it weighs 82 grams.
Each of the spiny oyster and turquoise beads were hand cut, hand drilled and hand polished by Maggie. Can you imagine how many hours of very tedious labor it took for Maggie to make all of these beads?
We are the only resellers, on the internet, that sell Maggie's beautiful earrings, bracelets and necklaces and we're very proud to represent her. We visit her quite often, at her home on the Pueblo, and we always enjoy watching her as she creates her new pieces of jewelry for us.
Maggie is well known for making beautiful but affordable jewelry, and this necklace is a wonderful example of just that.
If you've previously bought from our store you know that we are honest sellers who would never misrepresent anything to our customers. We're saying this now because we want you to know that this necklace looks much better "in person" than the pictures displayed above indicate. For some reason, even though we took pictures of the necklace several times, none of them show it's true beauty.
