Here's an absolutely stunning, sterling silver, watch/bracelet that was handmade by the amazingly talented Navajo silversmith Tim Yazzie.
Tim made this watch/bracelet with two features. First are the large repousse style applications and second are his beautiful, and very intricate, hand stamped designs and symbols.
Please look at the pictures displayed above to see the beauty and quality of the wonderful example of handmade, Native American art.
The inside of the bracelet measures 5+1/4" long, plus there's a gap of 1+1/4".
It's 1+1/2" wide and it weighed in at a significant 60 grams.
The back is stamped sterling and has Tim's hallmark.
With the cost of silver at an all time high many Indian artists are using lighter gauge (thinner) silver when making their new jewelry. Tim has chosen not to follow that path and he still uses the heavy gauge silver that he has used in the past.
