Here's a stunning pair of Vintage Mexican hand made earrings that we found at an estate auction near Santa Fe.
Since we sell American Indian jewelry and these are Mexican made, we don't know a lot about these earrings, except that they are very unusual and very attractive.
Each earring appears to have been made in the shape of a dragonfly (however, that's open to your interpretation). They are each 2+1/4" long and 1+3/8" wide. The pair weighs 25 grams.
The back of the earrings have several stamped markings, most of which we are unfamiliar with. One stamp says Mexico, another says Taxco, and the others appear to be the shop marks, and possibly the artists hallmark. Have a look at the pictures...
